CTI Interim Chief Executive steps down

The Confederation of Timber Industries (CTI) has announced that its interim Chief Executive Dirk Vennix has left the organisation.

CTI Chairman Peter Hindle MBE said: “I would like to thank Dirk for his excellent leadership and vigorous efforts to establish a new overarching trade association for the timber supply chain over the last twelve months. Dirk successfully implemented a membership and stakeholder engagement strategy and developed the organisation from start-up to sustainable business.

This has led to far greater unity among trade associations and businesses within the timber supply chain and greater cooperative working practice – in short, meeting the original objectives of the organisation. He also created a new All Party Parliamentary Group for Timber Industries with the support of 45 parliamentarians.

With this achieved, I am very sorry to see Dirk leave to pursue other ambitions. I would like to take this opportunity to wish him well and every success for the future.”

Further announcements will follow.
