Housing shortage and offsite construction, upcoming event in Birmingham

On 23 and 24 March 2016 the National Exhibition Center (NEC) in Birmingham will host the 'Explore Offsite in the Housing Sector' event.

The seminar present a combined mix of conferences and exhibitions, including a prestigious line-up of industry speakers.

The discussion will be focused on the housing sector, analysing the opportunities that offsite construction offers to takle the housing shortage crisis.

Housebuilding in the UK is currently at an all-time low. It is predicted that a total of 250,000 homes need to be delivered each year in order to tackle spiralling house prices and the critical shortage of affordable homes. This target has constantly been missed – with figures showing that only 141,000 homes were constructed last year.
